About The Program

Genesis USA is dedicated to ending veteran homelessness across the nation. We pay tribute to the sacrifice and dignity of American Service Members by ensuring that no veteran is left stranded on the streets of the country they volunteered to defend.

If you are a veteran experiencing homelessness or know of a veteran experiencing homelessness, please fill out this form.

National Case Management Network

Our nationwide network of case managers is committed to helping veterans by offering housing assistance and essential supportive services. This team includes housing and employment coordinators and behavioral health specialists, who work together to identify veterans’ urgent housing requirements, locate secure and respectful housing options, and swiftly provide assistance.

Once our veterans and their families have been given housing, we focus on identifying their urgent psychological, financial, and emotional requirements. We have established a wide-reaching national network comprising more than 1,000 public and private organizations, VA agents, attorneys, landlords, mental health counselors, financial counselors, and major employers. This expanding network enables us to effectively address each veteran’s challenges, ensuring they can maintain their new housing while striving to achieve their long-term goals.

Our program aims to assist veterans who are experiencing homelessness by helping them reintegrate into their communities. We also provide support to veterans who are at risk of homelessness to prevent them from slipping into that situation.

The Homeless Veteran Program offers support to homeless veterans with:

  • Temporary hotel accommodations
  • Help with moving in (covering the first month’s rent, security deposit, broker fees, and application fees)
  • Assistance with basic needs such as food and childcare supplies
  • Help with transportation
  • Support for rental and mortgage arrears
  • Aid with utility deposits or arrears
  • Program Eligibility Requirements
